      William came in the Truelove in September 1635 with his wife Marie and his children. He was aged 44 years and she was 34 years. The children listed on the manifest were Elizabeth 11 years, Sarah 8 years, Mary 6 years, and John 3 years. His son, Edward, was sent first on the Christian in 1634, sailing from London. Daniel came on the Elizabeth Ann in April 1635. William first settled in Dorchester, Suffolk, MA. He is listed in the Grantees of Dorchester lands in January of 1636; it contains the names of the first settlers. He moved to New Haven to be among first subscribers of the compact, 1639. He probably died not long after date of his will, 9 Jul 1647. He owned an estate in Giggleswick, Yorkshire, England, in the most western part of the West Riding.

Daniel Preston- b. 1622 at Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England baptized 3 March 1621/2 at Chesham, Buckinghamshire, England; m. Mary Preston Nee Unknown; d. 10 November 1707 at Dorchester, Suffolk, Massachusetts, aged 86 years.

1. Mary- b. abt 1645; m(1) 28 May 1662 Eleazer Fawer at Dorchester, Suffolk, Massachusetts; m(2) 6 July 1670 Samuel Jenkins at Dorchester, Suffolk, Massachusetts.
2. Daniel b. 1648;
3. John b. 14 July 1641 at Dorchester, Suffolk, Massachusetts.

     Daniel came from London in the Elizabeth and Ann, aged 13 years. He was sent in April 1735 preceding his father. He is listed with his uncle Edward Sale was also on the ship. He was freeman in 1665, and was chosen selectman 1675 He was called Deacon. He died 10 November 1707 at Dorchester, Suffolk, Massachusetts at the age of 86 years.

Daniel Preston- b. 1648 at Dorchester, Suffolk, Massachusetts; m. December 1673 Abigail Jackson; d. 13 March 1725/6 at Dorchester, Suffolk, Massachusetts, aged 73 years.
